In 2015, I was expert consultant on the "AFRICA: Architecture, Culture and Identity" exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Humlebæk, Denmark.
The AFRICA exhibition was the third component in Louisiana’s series 'Architecture, Culture and Identity'. In 2012, the museum launched the first component – NEW NORDIC – and in 2014, it turned attention toward the Arab world with the ARAB CONTEMPORARY exhibition. The exhibition was open to the public from 25 June - 25 October 2015.
Covering seven interconnected themes, the exhibition examined the relationship between space, architecture and sociality in different localities across the sub-Saharan region.
